Thomas L. Johnson Named Ombudsperson

January 5, 2018 – It was announced today in the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis’ fourth report to Ramsey County District Court that Thomas L. Fourth Report by the Archdiocese on its Status and Progress of Implementation of the Settlement Agreement

January 5, 2018 – This morning, the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis and the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office appear at its scheduled, periodic hearing in Ramsey County Court before Judge Teresa R. Warner. At that time, the Archdiocese filed its fourth semi-annual Report with the Court setting forth its substantial compliance with the Settlement Agreement. Continue reading

Documents Posted: Independent, External Audit of the Archdiocese’s Safe Environment Policies and Procedures

January 5, 2018 – An independent, external audit of the Archdiocese’s Safe Environment policies and procedures was conducted and it found that the Archdiocese is in substantial compliance with the Ramsey County Settlement Agreement. The required report was submitted in Ramsey County District Court today by representatives of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, including Archbishop Bernard A. Hebda and director of the Office of Ministerial Standards and Safe Environment, Judge Tim O’Malley. Continue reading

Statement Regarding Richard Jeub

November 29, 2017 – Richard Jeub was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis in 1966. In 2002, he was removed from ministry due to allegations against him of sexual abuse of a minor. He has sought dispensation from the obligations of the clerical state, commonly referred to as “laicization.” Continue reading
